Egyptian Fellowship
A national specialist training run by the Egyptian Health Council. You train in an accredited hospital, keep a logbook, and sit two exams. Open to Egyptians and, with different fees, to non-Egyptians.

Steps

Internship finished, registered with the Medical Syndicate, practice licence in hand. Non-Egyptians also need their degree equivalence.
- Apply onlineDuring the intake window
Pick your specialty and up to three training centres. Upload the paperwork below as clear scans.
- Get your training centreAbout 6 weeks after closing
Placement follows your ranking and the centre places. You can swap later only with both centres agreeing.
- Train and keep your logbookEvery year
Rotations set by your programme. Your logbook and attendance are reviewed each year.
- Pass Part 1Usually by the end of year 2
Basic sciences for your specialty. Written, multiple choice.
- Pass Part 2 and get the certificateFinal year
Written papers, then clinical and oral exams. The certificate comes from the Egyptian Health Council.

Fees

Non-Egyptians pay in US dollars and may need a residency permit to train. Some Arab nationalities have reduced fees by agreement.
