Privacy policy

This page says what Neyaba keeps about you and your work, who can see it, and who helps us run the service. It is written to be read.
What we collect
- Your name, email and WhatsApp number, and your specialty and year if you give them.
- Your unit membership.
- What you enter: ward patients as initials, age, sex and diagnosis, requests, OR cases, your logbook, rota marks, leave, fund records, hospital reviews, pathway ticks and saved calculator results.
- Basic usage, such as which sheets are printed.
What we don't collect
We do not collect patients' names, national ID numbers, phone numbers or addresses. Neyaba has no fields for them.
Why
We use your data to run your unit, to show you your own data, to send your messages, and to keep the service safe.
Who can see it
Members of your unit can see the unit's data. Hospital reviews are never shown one by one. Only the owner, the chief and the schedule co-host can see hours and fairness figures.
Who helps us run Neyaba
- Google, if you sign in with Google.
- An email provider, for sign-in codes.
- Meta's WhatsApp Business service, for messages to your number.
- Anthropic, which may receive the written comments of a hospital's reviews, without names or accounts, to write a short summary.
- Our hosting provider.
Hospital reviews
A review is stored with your account only so that one resident cannot review the same department of a hospital twice. It is never shown. Once five residents have reviewed a hospital, their reviews are shown only as averages.
Cookies
Neyaba sets one cookie, to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting
Nothing is deleted automatically. To have your account, or something you entered, removed, write to [email protected].
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data. This policy is written with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law, Law 151 of 2020, in mind.
